Regardless of what may or may not be going on at WRKO Radio (AM 680) with Todd Feinburg, I am sure the is-he/isn't-he act is not aimed at making Jessica Heslam and Brian Maloney look bad. Which is what Brian seems to think.

Totally off topic, Dan, but...
...enjoyed Greater Boston's Beat the Press last night. One slight nit, though. Could you please give a mild whisper to Callie Crossley (sp?) that the wrap that she was wearing was very annoying. It sparkles and diverts the attention from her face (which is quite lovely) to the wrap. Doesn't matter what the color of the clothing is, but no sparkles.

And one of the least informed I know of. What exactly is it she does in the media world on a day-to-day basis that gives her thoughts any weight?
As an early sympathizer to the "savewrko.com" movement, I find that it has become more and more extravagant over time. If a private, for-profit business like WRKO wants to change to programming in Tagalog, so be it. If one disagrees with WRKO, turn the dial.
Have Maloney and friends appointed themselves to save the station from destruction? A strange notion indeed since they are at such odds with management. Or are they trying to preserve the nostalgia of radio days gone by, forgetting the maxim that time and tide wait for no man?
Either way, Maloney's latest rant claiming that WRKO suits are making personnel decisions in order to toy with him is unintentionally funny. "Delusions of self-importance are usually harbingers of early senility." - Rageboy.
Callie is sometimes the only person who talks reality. I must be as uniformed as she is.
