Channeling my fears about David Gregory

As I said the other day, I'm willing to give Gregory a chance. Essentially, though, I'm looking for him to be something he's never been before:
And his welcome-aboard interview with Tom Brokaw on Sunday was almost nauseating.

Agreed, Dan. This was the wrong choice.
David Gregory is another right-leaning NBC (neocon?) pantywaist in same mold as Brian Williams and Tom Brokaw. GE can't help going for the right of center statesmen-like bloviators.
The best NBC staff reporter with the best political instincts and the least apparent bias is David Shuster. He would have been an excellent choice for MTP if the show were about substantive policy and political analysis.
It's really too bad the Clinton campaigned needed to play victim at the expense of Shuster's reputation because he is, far and away, the best choice for MTP (That is if the show was about political news as opposed to celebrity.)
Thank god the god-awful Brokaw has re-retired to Montana.
When nags (decrepit horses) become infirm, compassionate owners put them down. Who at NBC would kindly do that for Andrea Mitchell?
