Dan, help me out. You write in the Guardian, "Obama is awfully good for business" but then you cite Newsweek and CNN who, as far as I know, are perfoming terribly, even with their fawning coverage of Obama.
You then claim that the conservative media has become, "increasingly shrill and irrelevant" but you cite Fox News as an example, without reporting that they blow away all of their cable competition, more so now than ever.
What am I missing?
Interesting that both Cheney and Mary Ann Glendon seem not to be able to stand having Obama do something they once did.
What strikes me is how edgy* everybody seems to have become, whether it's media folks or us in the audience, whether it's about swine flu or unannounced flyovers. I'm not saying it's without basis, but maybe it needs to be addressed.
*I mean edgy in the sense of being nervous, not in the sense of being on the cutting edge.
SO, Limbaugh, Beck and Hannity are rancid.....and Olberman and Maddoux are thoughtful, reasonable, serious journalists?
As far as the rise of the leftwing media...you know that MSNBC's ratings have fallen into the toilet since January, right? So much for the rise of the leftwing media.
